About Ragdolls...
Ragdolls are unique inside and out. Outside, they are huge and beautiful. They are the largest breed of cat, though not all of them have the huge size. The Ragdoll coat is soft, like a bunny.

Inside, Ragdolls are unusually gentle and mellow. They have a unique trait called "flop factor". When you pick them up, they go limp like a ragdoll. Ragdolls are amazingly affectionate, and they will follow their owner quietly all over the house.

Generally males are much larger than females and the females are more active. Fixed males are larger by an average 5 pounds than nonfixed males.

Ragdoll Colors and Patterns
The Three Patterns
Ragdolls have three basic patterns,
Colorpoint, Mitted, and Bicolor.
Bicolor
Dark ears and tail, creamy body, white tummy, legs, and inverted white "v" on face.
Mitted
Dark points with four white mitts
Colorpoint
Dark points, creamy body
The Colors
Ragdolls come in a variety of colors. In our cattery, we have Seal and Blue. When our two tortie girls grow up, we will have the possibility of Flame, Cream, and Bluecream kittens.
Sasha's color is seal, which is a lovely rich dark brown. She is a seal bi-color. Biff 's color is blue, his pattern is mitted, and he has lynx markings. So he is a blue mitted lynx.
Lynx and Tortie Markings
Puddentain has lynx markings (stripes) which
can overlay all the colors and patterns. Peaches is a tortie, somewhat like a calico. Tortie markings can overlay all colors and patterns but only females are torties.
